His hobby is Creative Writing (Nonfiction). He says:

Creative writing is based more on manifestation rather than on expression. It does not inform rather reveals, so it bears no reference. The best creative writing is critical, and the best critical writing is creative. As you know well that, Francis Bacon (1561-1626), the immortal writer, wrote many essays, and notably “Of Love”, “Of Friendship”, “Of Ambition”, “Of Studies”, etc. The myriad-minded genius rightly pointed out that all the words of the dictionary can be the themes of essays one can write. But little has been done, in this regard since his death, in order to finish his unfinished monumental works. In fact Bacon's way of presentation and his unique style kindled imagination and inspired me to write essays, in the light of creative writing, thus to get relief through Catharsis.

Introduction
Creative writing is based more on manifestation rather than on expression.  It does not inform, rather reveals, so it bears no reference.  The best creative writing is critical, and the best critical writing is creative.  The present article is the outcome of creative writing meant for lay readers.  As such, free style is the methodology adopted so that pleasure of reading can be enjoyed by the common masses.  As you know well that Francis Bacon (1561-1626), the immortal essayist, wrote many essays and notably, "Of Love," "Of Friendship," "Of Ambition," "Of Studies," etc.  The myriad-minded genius rightly pointed out that all the words of the dictionary can be the themes of essays one can write.  But little has been done, in this regard since his death, in order to finish his unfinished monumental works.  In fact, Bacon's way of presentation i.e., his unique style, kindled the imagination already in me and encouraged me as well to write essays, in the light of creative writing, thus to get relief through catharsis.

Meaning is that which is intended to be, or actually is, expressed or highlighted.  Meaning has diversified meaning with different degrees and dimensions as well.  Thus, it either expresses or impresses or both simultaneously.  The Essence of meaning is to express or explain or signify anything with various intensities.  It is intended to or in fact is to communicate something that is not directly expressed.  It is worthwhile quality.  It implies significance e.g. a meaning glance.  Thus meaning highlights importance.  The meaning of his remark means significance.  The word has several different meanings means definition. My life has no meaning means value.  His smile was full of meaning means expressiveness. A meaningful relationship means sincere.  Meaning is intention and usually used in combination.

ARTICLE
Meaning is that which is intended to be, or actually is, expressed or highlighted.  It implies
significance.  It is what is referred to or indicated by a word, action, idea, sound, utterance, or signal, etc.  Meaning is how the writer or person presents logic to be interpreted.  It is that which is in the mind or thoughts.  It stands for a serious, important or useful quality. It intends to signify the sense manifested.

All cannot realize the spirit of the concerned theme or thing and thereby explain the sense hidden and take appropriate measure accordingly.  It demands both intellect and attention. Explanation not only illuminates the dark assertion but also highlights the quality or sound faculty of mind of the interpreter as well.  One must know everything is quite impossible.  A wise person knows it.  But a fool does not know it.  He knows that he knows all and everything between heaven and earth.  Here lies the problem.  He knows not that he knows not.  As such, he rushes everywhere and tries to explain any matter in vain and becomes a laughing stock.  Thus, he falls down and breaks his crown always, like Jack. He not only wastes his time or energy but also harms his victim simultaneously.  He seldom thinks his capacity or fact of beyond knowledge.

Meaning implies purpose good or bad, much or little, well or ill, etc.  A fool interprets anything as per his sweet will.  He dares nobody and cares for none. But a judicious brain judges the thing properly and values the thing as it deserves.  Thus, meaning imports.  It destines. It designs.  The rise and fall of the kings and emperors of history are due to their right and wrong interpretations of situations with which they were faced and the subsequent actions they took to tackle reality.

The meaning of childhood is to study.  The meaning of youth is to work.  The meaning of old age is to rest.  If these chronologies are not properly maintained, then misfortune dogs the cursed victim till death. Interpretation is to explain the meaning of something mysterious or abstruse to make it

understandable.  Interpretation is all and everything.  It is the only determining factor of the Fate of the concerned individual.  Interpreting appropriation and appropriate interpretation are the soul of meaning.

Meaning is just like the definite article in grammar.  Interpretations are many like an indefinite article, thereby plural in nature.  Thus, ambiguity or plurality thereby uncertainty renders life miserable.  Meaning guides but interpretation misguides.  Proper guidance escorts one to perfection.  Wrong interpretation converts a person into a misguided missile.  Whatever may be the interpretation the meaning of anything is unique and absolute. Meaning is just like constant. It never changes, but it causes change. Meaning and interpretation are not synonymous. Interpretation causes change but meaning of meaning remains unchanged like a catalyst i.e., an agent of change in a chemical reaction.

Sounds and patterns convey meaning. Thus, meaning has diversified meaning with different degrees, dimensions and style as well. It either expresses or impresses or both simultaneously. Essence of meaning is to express or explain or signify anything with various intensities. She is a well-meaning person is an example of such combination.

There are three types of people. He who knows something of everything is an amateur. He who knows everything of something is an expert. He who knows nothing is a fool. Now the question arises – who is an expert? They say, an expert is one who complicates simple things.

Another school of thought opines the opposite view.  According to this doctrine, an expert is one who simplifies complex things.  An expert, to prove his expertise, can convert simple into complex and complex into simple at ease.  Thus experts are of two types.  The former one may be crowned as a complex expert and the latter one may be laurelled as a simple expert respectively.  Now the question arises--who is a novice?  A novice is one who neither can complicate nor can he simplify anything for his ignorance.  The complex expert laughs at an innocent heart for its foolishness and helplessness and thereby enjoys sadistic pleasure through complicacy.  Between the two, the simple expert is, however, better than the complex one.  He is philanthropist. He is an optimist in nature.  He is the benefactor of humankind.

An intelligent person realizes properly and interprets appropriately the meaning of any situation as is faced with and takes judicious decision accordingly and be successful.  A fool, on the other hand, misinterprets any situation thereby fails successfully to take correct decision and becomes frustrated. Computer programming is a combination of one and zero.  A computer in every moment has to opt either one or zero i.e., say correct or incorrect.  If it fails to recognize the meaning of each command, like a human being, then the outcome of whole programming will be erroneous.

Meaning has various outcomes.  It tells.  It complains.  Also it opines.  Pinching means pain.  Laughter means success.  Both pinching and laughter have identical outcome irrespective of people and culture. Thus, meaning is culture free.  It is intended to express, signify, or indicate what one means.  Thus, it breaks all barriers and crosses all boundaries.  It both brings and beckons.  To a judicious person, beckoning is sufficient.  To a dull-headed brain, eloquence brings nothing rather remains unreciprocated.

Meaning is to have in mind or intend or purpose.  For example, he means to go.  A gift meant for someone is to intend or design for a certain person or purpose.  It is to destine or seem means someone to be a doctor.  It is to be used to convey or denote e.g., the German word “ja” means “yes.”  It is to be a sign, indication, or herald of i.e., signifies war! An honor is alias and akin to have a specified degree of importance, effect, or influence. Mean well implies to have good intentions or friendly i.e., helpful feelings.

Synonym is a word or phrase with the same or nearly the same meaning as another in the same language. Slay is synonymous with kill. Shut and close are synonymous. Antonym is a word that is opposite in meaning to another word. Old has two possible antonyms young and new. A person rich in vocabulary enjoys good command both on
literature and language. One’s passive vocabulary is a hindrance to success. But with active vocabulary a student easily shines in life.

A word may or may not be used in its original meaning as per situation. A poem with a deeper or hidden meaning quenches the thirst of the inquisitive hearts. To a frustrated person or lover life seems to have lost all meaning. With the fiancée, a fiancé learns the true meaning of love. A meaning look or glance or pause has definite interpretation. One may not mean one to take anything in a literal sense. The signing of the treaty means the end of confrontation. One means someone to start at once. He was meant for a poet. A letter means a lot to someone.

A novice lover may not know what his fiancée means to him. Someone means well by someone. An expert can see and read the determined look of an entrepreneur that he really meant business. A poem without much meaning is fit for learners of primary education.

Someone laughs for someone. Someone laughs at someone. Only an experienced heart can read the meaning of laughter. When fiancée looks at fiancé with meaning he gets back a meaningful life. When a lover is deserted he suffers from a meaningless existence. He discovers life without meaning or significance. To him the whole creation seems to be valueless or purposeless.

Meaning, purport, sense, significance denote that which is expressed or indicated by something. Meaning is the general word denoting that which is intended to be or actually is expressed or indicated.  The meaning of a word is very important to translate a difficult text.  Purport is mainly limited to the meaning of a formal document, speech, important conversation, etc., and refers to the gist of something fairly complicated. The purport of author’s letter to the editor is valued much.

Sense may be used to denote one particular meaning of a word or phrase.  The word is frequently used in this sense.  Sense may also be used loosely to refer to intelligible meaning. There’s no sense in what he says means the speaker referred to talks nonsense and rubbish.  Significance refers particularly to a meaning that is implied rather than expressed. The significance of one’s glance is perceived by beloved only. Or to a meaning the importance of which may not easily be realized immediately by a stranger.  The real significance of words may not be grasped always. It demands constant meditation and practice.  Meaning with its various interpretations simply bewilders an innocent soul very easily.  It may either be singular or ambiguous or plural in nature simultaneously.  Ambiguity renders a
situation complex.  When a word is used with more than one meaning, there lies ambiguity. But semanticists and philosophers usually call a word ambiguous only when there is some uncertainty about which meaning is being used in the particular instance.

A word is not ambiguous by itself, it is used ambiguously.  It is ambiguous when one cannot tell from the context what sense is being used.   For example, let us take two statements: (1). He may come. (2). He may not come. In fact there is no basic difference between these two sentences.  Because, "he may come" means "he may not come" also.  Similarly, "he may not come" means "he may come" as well simultaneously.  The former sentence signifies affirmation and the later one is liable for negation.  Thus, both the sentences express the tendency of a concerned individual. In both the cases there is no must, no guarantee, no certainty but two occurrences with full of uncertainty.   Here the tendency or statistical interpretation of the concerned person has simply been mentioned without any ambiguity, though both the statements suffer from full of ambiguity.  Thus, uncertainty in disguise of ambiguity causes anxiety.  It is merely a statistical interpretation in the light of probability.  Probability never becomes zero.  It is always optimistic.  Probability implies hope.  It means expectation.  In fact, statistics is not mathematics; rather it is merely a technique.

A glass contains some water. Everybody knows that the pessimist will definitely mean the glass is half empty. He always sees the dark side of life. He is a diverted genius. He is a misguided missile.  Emptiness appears in his mind’s easel first.  He is so cursed.  He is so unfortunate.  Perhaps an unshaded infant coupled with an unguarded childhood offered him such a vacuum vision towards life.  He is either dangerously brilliant or brilliantly dangerous or both simultaneously.  He creates obstruction, since he experiences it, in reality, in every footstep.  He is afraid of change due to uncertainty, injustice and fear.  He prefers stalemate condition.  As such, his mind is enriched with negation, incompleteness, failure, and frustration thereby nothingness as a whole.

In contrast, the optimist begs to differ.  He argues that the glass contains half water and half air.  Thus, it is full.  Nature does not like a vacuum.  Similarly, the optimist seldom sees and thinks for emptiness.  Thus, his heart is full to the brim in the light of bright future infested with a mission along with vision of hope and desire as well.
What is life? One school of thought opines life means staying in this world. What is death?

Another school of thought contends that death means also similar staying in another world beyond our perception.  It is the end, purpose, or significance of existence.  The sun rises in the east. An optimist becomes happy just with the sun rise. A pessimist is a coward and is afraid of sunset and says the sun will set whenever it sees the sun to peep in the east.  Thus, it mourns the departure of the monarch of the day in the western horizon of the sky just with its arrival in the eastern horizon.  But to an optimist, every sunset guarantees another very sunrise on the very next day.  Thus, to an optimist and a pessimist life has different and diagonally opposite meaning i.e., light and dark respectively.

OF OPTION

ABSTRACT

Option is the act or an instance of choosing. It is the power, right, or liberty of choice. Right option builds the career of any student. If a student of science opts for humanities or a student of humanities opts for science courses then both the students fail successfully. So, a student should opt as per his interest towards the concerned subject. Here guidance of teacher is very important. He can select the right track according to the tendency of the concerned student.

Creative writing is based more on manifestation rather than on expression. It does not inform rather reveals, so it bears no reference. Option is the act or an instance of choosing. It is the power, right, or liberty of choice.  It is something that is or can be chosen. It is the right, acquired for a consideration in stock exchange etc. to buy, sell, or lease something at a fixed price, sign or renew a contract, etc. within a specified time. In case of dictatorship people have no choice, rather voice of dictator is final. The tyrant opines that mass have no choice and that should be their choice. This rudeness of the dictator is quite unethical. Thus option offers freedom to both voice and choice. Its essence is to respect human rights. There is no compulsion or obligation. It pleads for liberty and thereby democracy. Here a person enjoys cent percent liberty like a bird that flies in the unobstructed sky in any direction . An independent person realizes his ambition through exercising the power of option without any influence or threat or shame. Compulsion is a hindrance to free thinking. It is akin to pain. Its output is stereotyped. So everybody hankers after option to serve and satisfy his egoistic attitude. It is the discretionary power man exercises or enjoys.

The outcome of option may either be good or bad. It is good when it allows to manifest the perfection or desire of a creative genius. But if the choice is wrong then option causes pain rather pleasure instead. Then compulsion is far better. So decision must be judicious. Here experience helps to opt. The success of a novice or an inexperienced person solely depends on intellect or clarity of thought. In politics right man in the wrong party is an example of bad option. In such a case both party and person become unhappy. Here a judicious person submits resignation before expulsion from the party.

Compulsion builds the character and option helps to flourish it. A civil engineer first constructs a building then an architect ornaments it through option. Both flourishing and ornamentation are not basic need but get fulfilled through right options. Through ornamentation the essence of aesthetic beauty gets manifested. So childhood should be channeled through compulsion. After certain period the innocent souls should be freed to enjoy the blessings of options. The merit of childhood is that it can easily be molded.

Similarly the demerit of childhood is that it can easily be molded. But a characteristic trait cannot simultaneously be merit and demerit for itself. If so then that very trait is harmful at that period of life. Mother’s affection is must for the tender soul. Similarly primary education is compulsory for every child to face the reality. Higher education is enriched with different options.

Option is easier to choose from two alternatives. But it demands time and reasoning power when alternatives are many. Here both novice and experienced take time more or less to choose. When selection is based on intellect there lies no problem. But it causes problem when emotion opts and chooses from available alternatives. Emotion has no base as well as no brake at all. As such when emotion rules the intellect, man becomes helpless. If the alternatives are equally likely, then any choice rebukes the man why it did not pick up the other one. The most interesting paradox is that emotion disturbs again why the person did not collect the other one, even after collection that very one left earlier. The most surprising event is that emotion pleads that exchanged thing was not good, rather the non-chosen one was better. It is a never ending game. An unfortunate lover faces this very unique problem when each of his fiancée is rich in beauty.

Sometimes, the Fate of such a lover is so cursed that he remains bachelor. An indecisive person experiences the difficulties of such different uncontrollable emotions of mind.  Such a character suffers from lack of confidence.

Option is like privacy man nurtures secretly. A lover chooses the better face from two options. When a lover faces many beautiful faces then he faces much difficulty to select a single one. Various options open to him render him mad. They are made for each other.

Also they all are mad for each other simultaneously. This madness has two solutions. Either the lover can marry all his fiancées or marry none thus to please everybody. Since polygamy is forbidden in the civilized society the lover cannot marry all his lovers. Here lies the utility of option. Also he is bound to opt for the sake of chastity of women and thereby society at large. Even the society permits him to polygamy, he cannot please all. Because those who want to please everybody can please nobody. Further, if the lover decides to remain bachelor and he does not disclose it then his fiancées will run after the mirage. This is the unsaid story of many bachelors.

Right option builds the career of any student. If a student of science opts for humanities or a student of humanities opts for science courses then both the students fail successfully. So, a student should opt as per his interest towards the concerned subject. Here guidance of teacher is very important. He can select the right track according to the tendency of the concerned student.

Some persons opt. Some one opts not. To them no option is also an option, like no politics is also a politics or no style is also a style or no statistics is also a statistics. Also a person does not opt when none of the options is satisfactory. In such a case the authority exercises its power to opt as per norms.

Option gives liberty to cancel any agreement or treaty when it breaches the norms or condition. Man is helpless when there is no option. In some judiciary system there is option for imprisonment or fine. Sometimes there is imprisonment without the option of fine. If the crime is severe then both rule simultaneously. Some one opts immediately. Some one prefers soft option. Someone keeps his option open to decide later. It depends  on the situation. Here it should be kept in mind that chance comes once. Only a judicious brain can take the right decision. He who has foresight strikes the iron when it is hot. A shrewd politician opts out from the present party and joins another promising one for better prospect. In some countries an opted-out school or hospital decides to withdraw from the control of a local authority but funded from central government for certainty and security.

An employee takes the lien from his present employer to comeback again if the new assignment is unfavorable. Here option saves a person since future is uncertain. In some car cd player is an optional extra i.e. it will cost extra if one chooses to have it. In some cases option exercised once is final. It cannot be changed. The striking example of this kind is marriage. Society allows its members to choose and opt from various alternatives only for once before marriage. Thus it binds its members through option. First option is the last option. Society does it just to protect the Fate of the children and chastity of society as well. Before marriage life partner should be selected very cautiously. Because marriage is a long journey and tolerance is its only fuel. Otherwise, extra marital affairs gets entry causing social problem. And the house of orphans gets overcrowded due to divorce or leading fast life. As such option is so important and here lies the utility of option in real life.

Emotion is the enemy of man. A married man may meet a beautiful woman. This meeting has two outcomes. Either the man can conquer the allurement or he may respond to her call ignoring his wife. The main danger of such involvement is that the man again responds another beckon. This is the story of infinite serials.

Someone is leftist, someone is rightist. There are some people who opt for neither. They are neither leftist, nor rightist. Rather they are Middle East. They dwell at the threshold of these two options and wait for opportunity. Thus their mood and motif are gloriously so uncertain. Because sometimes they are leftist and sometimes they are rightist. As such people call them opportunist. So they are either dangerously brilliant or brilliantly dangerous or both simultaneously.

Human being has two options either life or death. Half-dead is quite troublesome and full of uncertainty. Because, the man may die or exist again. The chance is fifty-fifty. Sometimes miracle happens. Similarly computer has binary options either zero (0) or one (1). But computer has no Middle East option. So it is free from miracle events. Many options perplex a man. The confident person can choose any one and stick to that very one. But whose habit is to vacillate they will fluctuate always from cradle to grave, whether the option be binary or many it matters little.

Human life has binary outcomes. Either win or defeat. Win encourages to move forward. Defeat invites frustration and causes retardation. Then the person may try again or change the option. Trial and error method is the best tool in scientific investigation. It has immense applications and utility in real life. Teacher advises does and don’ts. It helps a student to build up his career. In danger, sixth sense helps a man to choose the best option. This choice depends on his previous experience which is the outcome of statistical interpretations. Truth has no option. It is an example of definite article. It is singular in number. Truth has no substitute. It itself is its substitute. As such it is definite option. But lies are many. Lies are the examples of indefinite article. These are plural in number. Rather, these are infinite in number. These infinite lies act as infinite number of options. Thus plurality of lies renders life so complicated. Variety is the spice of life. A dynamic person crazily adds those spices like options to make his life enjoyable more. If the choice of option is good life becomes better. But if the selection is bad life becomes worse instead.

Option is everything. That means everything depends on option. Human life is a collection of various stages. Each stage gets its perfection exercising right option. Every stage has its definite job allotment. A child will play. A student will read. A man will earn. And lastly old age is for relaxation. Now, if a child is engaged to earn then he is deprived from playing and reading. It not only loses its childhood and student life rather its future becomes uncertain. Similarly if an old man is bound to earn then he will die soon. His mundane relaxation gets divinity due to wrong option exercised in early life.

CONCLUSIONS

Lastly, like everybody a successful editor opts always for good article. He seldom compromises with rubbish submission. He is not impartial rather partial for quality outcome. Though the author becomes unhappy for rejection but he is quite undone. He knows that not quantity rather quality is the yardstick of measuring standardization of any reputed column that acquires fame always. Survival of the fittest is the only key for existence. Otherwise his publication will be the store house of garbage causing premature death. As such an editor always opts cautiously. And to maintain strictness and thereby enjoy discretionary power if any deserving article is rejected, it is even better than to publish a substandard article. In such a case his error of judgment may not be dealt with so severely, rather garbage publication will be badly criticized thereby sadly hurt.

OF CONFIDENCE

ABSTRACT
Confidence is a feeling or belief that one can firmly trust or rely on somebody,  somebody’s ability or something that is said, reported, etc. It is a feeling of certainty or  trust in one’s own ability. It is a secret told to somebody. It is self-assurance arising from  an appreciation of one’s abilities. It is the telling of private matters or secrets with mutual  trust. It is a secret or private matter told to someone under a condition of trust. Confidence is the alias of psychic force. It acts as the driving force of mankind. A man having no confidence may be compared with a dead man.

To an optimist or an opportunist it is a good tool for achieving objectives. Confidence is good, but over confidence is bad like ambition and over ambition .Over confidence sometimes betrays with the expert. He cannot show his expertise in desired moment. An over ambitious man becomes either dangerously brilliant or brilliantly dangerous or both simultaneously to achieve his target. A careerist is always selfish. He is confident. And his confidence provokes him to be ambitious. Over ambition invites failure and thereby welcomes frustration. Sometimes failure renders him furious against the person the cause of failure or hindrance towards success. Again, utter failure paves the way for committing suicide.

Those who commit suicide do not know that life has its sweet side too. So, over confident or over ambitious people should judge their capability in the light of reality, feasibility, validity along with their disability as well. They should know that ability without feasibility is also disability. It is easier to earn anything but difficult to hold it for long. In known or suitable environment confidence works well. But an expert seldom cares for it. He can show his expertise always. But confidence fails when the field is changed. For example, a mathematician cannot solve the problem of history. To him history always remains as mystery. Similarly, to an historian mathematics is always obscure. A murderer can easily murder but cannot face the interview board which a scholar faces at ease and gets the job. But confidence of the said scholar fails if he is asked to murder a person against a good payment. Thus confidence should be judged in the light of concerned field or expertise.

Trust, belief, faith, credence, conviction, self-assurance, self-possession, assertiveness, poise, aplomb, phlegm, courage, boldness, mettle, nerve, secret, intimacy, optimist, hopeful, sanguine, sure, certain, positive, convinced, in no doubt, assured, self-reliant, cool-headed, level-headed, unperturbed, imperturbable, unruffled, at ease, are  different forms and features of confidence. Opposite of confidence is skepticism, doubt.

Confidence gives birth to pride that invites downfall, since pride goes before a fall. It is a feeling of reliance or certainty. But certainty is a vague or baseless term. In this world, everything is uncertain. Only death is sure and cent percent certain. But, the occurrence of certain death is quite uncertain. Nobody knows when a man will die. Thus, certainty is controlled by uncertainty. Conversely, uncertainty is also controlled by certainty.

Confidence is a sense of self-reliance or boldness. A courageous man is bold. But boldness vanishes when footsteps of death are heard. Very few people can face and welcome death confidently. Only a saint welcomes death with a smiling face. The learned knows that death paves his way to meet the Almighty at His heavenly abode. Take somebody into one’s confidence is to tell somebody one’s secrets, etc. Something told confidentially means the person will not disclose the secret. The former person is a confident one. In somebody’s confidence means trusted with somebody’s secret. But if the matter is disclosed then the second one is a treacherous one. So, before communicating any secret matter reliability of the person should be considered to avoid future complications.

Confidence trick or confidence game is an act of tricking or cheating somebody by first gaining their trust. Common people can be trusted. Also common people trust others easily. Only few uncommon people betray. Confidence man is a person who robs or swindles by means of a confidence trick.

Yes man is a not at all a weak person. Someone may wrongly consider such a person as a weak one for his tender behavior. Rather he is a wicked person. He is a finished scoundrel. He is wicked to the backbone. The merit of a yes man is that he can easily be molded. The demerit of a wicked man is that he can easily be molded. Thus they have no locus standing at all. Even God can do any mistake. But this type of Satan seldom commits any mistake. They have many flaws. But their judgments are flawless. The paradox is that a yes man always agrees with the people in authority in order to gain their approval.

But this yes man cannot be relied at all. They are only yes to whom who favors them. With the change of political color they change their jersey. Then they cannot recognize the person who helped them in distress. Gratitude is absent in their dictionary. They are so notorious. But this change of jersey is also seen in case of bold person also. Politicians are its best practitioners. In fact an opportunist always changes his color that suits him best at any particular period. In politics there is no permanent friend or foe only there lies permanent interest. And this interest though constant in nature is nurtured judging instant situation.

Confidence level is the probability that the value of a parameter falls within a specified range of values. Confidence level of a good student is very high. A good student does not write different thing, but writes differently. He differs in style. His way of representation is quite different which is rare individual style. And manifestation of goodness depends on the strength of confidence of the good student. Expert people have confidence. Novice has no confidence. Weakness, ignorance are the enemy of confidence. Money, good health, property, musclemen offer confidence.

Confidence has its most practical importance. A millionaire may be penniless due to lack of confidence and a penniless may be a millionaire for having confidence. An intelligent person may fail his nerve but a confident person seldom be afraid. A man cannot hold his fortune for long due to flaw in judgment. But judgment is not all. A man having clarity of thought but no confidence will experience defeat in every sphere of life. But a man having less intelligence but full of confidence will exist at least. But without confidence his existence will face danger always.

CONCLUSIONS

They say the fittest survives. And survival of the fittest depends on confidence. Thus, confidence sometimes is superior to intelligence and is akin to courage or stamina. Let two persons are of equal merit and differ in confidence. Then he, who has more confidence, is superior. Conversely, between two persons of equal confidence the superior is that one who is more intelligent. Now, between an intelligent and a confident person obviously, the intelligent person is superior more. Because intelligence is strength, like knowledge is power. Thus confidence and intelligence are two personality traits which are complementary to each other. An ideal man possesses these two traits equally at highest level. And ideal is always unattainable. Common people posses it differently. And the combination of these two traits offers a character its uniqueness. These characteristics are responsible to build up personality that determines individual difference.

OF DEPRIVATION

ABSTRACT

Deprivation means prevention from having normal dues. In this world there is none who has not been deprived, at least once, from his genuine share throughout his life. Deprivation gives birth to dissatisfaction. It causes depression. Prolonged deprivation gives birth to grief or anger. That’s why a communist is the embodiment of anger. In fact capitalists gave birth to communists who are deprived proletariat. A communist possesses the quality, acquired from bitter experience of hard reality, to speak on deprivation continuously and fight against the bourgeois untiringly. Deprivation gives birth to capital. As such property is always theft. Rich exploits the poor and thus be the owner of huge amount of capital. Self deprivation also paves the way to earn capital. Thus self deprivation gives birth to capital. Lord Buddha was against such self torture caused by starvation. As such, it seems Buddhism is also against deprivation and thereby capitalism.

ARTICLE

Deprivation means prevention from having normal dues. In other words, when one does not get his legitimate claim there lies deprivation. It is so powerful that it is omnipresent.

A deprived soul protests. When a. laborer is deprived, a communist protests and agitates to stop it. A mother protests when her children are deprived. A poet of nature becomes melancholy if he is isolated from nature. Thoughts are the food of a philosopher. He becomes indifferent in absence of thoughts. They say a philosopher always remains indifferent. Now, if he is deprived from thoughts he will be double indifferent that will help him to attain normal state of life or his mental condition may be worse more. But this assumption may not be true. For, no thought is also a thought, likewise no politics is also a politics or vacant mood is also a mood.

Now it seems clear that where there is deprivation there is protest. It is quite normal. As such we observe agitation, strike, anger, rebellion , etc. to combat against it. But in one case there is no protest even though it is happening since time immemorial. We find no communist to agitate to uproot it. It is self deprivation, the greatest deprivation, that takes place willingly, spontaneously and untiringly till death of the deprived soul. In self deprivation there is no protest, since a man enjoys it. His enjoyment allows him to deprive himself. The most striking example of self deprivation is the case of mother. Mother deprives herself always. For example, when both mother and children are hungry and if there is the scarcity of food, mother feeds her children welcoming starvation. Her empty stomach becomes full when her hungry son takes food. Here, there is no protest from any corner, nor the voice of the leader is heard to resist it. This deprivation and act of dedication remain unknown to us since mother does not disclose this fact to the society. Mother nurtures it and thereby enjoys the pleasure aroused from bitter biting of hunger. Similarly, a poor father is seen to offer new garments to his children in any festive season thus depriving himself.

Parents enjoy more when their issues are offered any gift instead of offering them. These phenomena of the parents remain un-illuminated and unknown to us just like some other events of the world viz., murmur sound of a rivulet coming from an un-trodden hill or woodland blossom that blossoms and withers away quite unawares or the bird that twitters and sings in an uninhabited forest or twilight of horizon, in a far off land, that offers intense heavenly delight or the rainbow that scatters the enchanting seven colors in the galaxy and kisses the distant ocean.

Thus, a man protests when he is deprived by foreign agency. But in case of self- deprivation he remains silent. So, other’s crime is a crime, but self crime is not a crime. Again if a man deprives his children he is ill-famed. Sometimes, a man deprives himself and does not marry for the sake of his family. But that very man does not allow a third person to be a lover of his fiancée in case of triangular love. It seems, a man is ready to sacrifice in full but seldom in part. It is quite peculiar. Libido confirms attention. An addicted man suffers from libido. A man who has deprived himself from the touch of lover, it is quiet difficult for him to know the enjoyment offered by a lover. But, to a lover it is difficult to forget the lover and more difficult to forgive his competitor.

Likewise a cannibal tiger is dangerous more than a tiger that has never been a man eater. A guest is fed much and sometimes beyond the capacity of host either due to shame, status, hospitality and good feeling as well. Some communities are famous for warm reception. It may either be by, above mentioned, one cause or a combination of all in same or different proportion. The best one is that one when it is done from cent percent good feeling but not depriving the host himself. In fact, it depends on the cultural heritage of the concerned community.

A pious heart starves till the rituals are observed to worship God. This deprivation through starvation is enjoyed much by the worshipper. He has the belief that much pain means much holy and sacred gain as is considered in some religion. Here, sometimes, expectation of commercial gain defeats the classical one. Deprived of civil right causes the death in alias of a civilian. Deprived childhood is a curse. It causes utter failure of a person throughout life. Children are the assets of any nation. So, every nation should take care so that they are not deprived. A civilized and developed nation considers its children as well as old citizens as elite class and take care accordingly. The old who built the nation is respected and the children who will build the nation in future are cared as per civil rule .A patriot deprives himself and sacrifices his life for the sake of motherland.

On the other hand a shrewd politician exploits and deprives the mass. A politician deprives different people differently. He squeezes his opponent but fulfills the desire of his yes-man. It means his partiality and impartiality differ in different cases. He is partially partial or partially impartial. Again, he is impartially partial and in some cases he exercises his impartial judgment impartially. In fact he is always vigilant. He is not indifferent. Rather he shows his difference in attitude in different proportion. All of his activities are the outcome of pre-calculated decisions.

The most pathetic case happens in case of prostitutes. They are the byproduct of the civilization. Rapid industrialization and modernization confirmed their production in abundance. They deprive themselves from having happy family and thus protect the chastity of the patriarchal society. They are used for so-called welfare but they get farewell from leading normal life.

A man, between the two, chooses that one which offers more pleasure. A mother gets more pleasure when her children take her food. So, she deprives herself since it offers more pleasure and thereby satisfaction. From psychological perspective deprivation can be explained in the light of pleasure principle. Every behavior of individual is pleasure oriented. Whatever we do in our life we want to derive pleasure out of it. If we get pleasure we are satisfied as we have attained our goal. A mother deprives herself from her basic need viz., food so that she can feed her child properly. Here the mother is getting masochistic pleasure by inflicting pain of starvation upon herself. Again, she is deriving pleasure as she utilizes her love and affection to the child by nurturing with proper care.

When a person deprives another person from his basic need it implies that the individual is deriving sadistic pleasure by inflicting pain on the other person who is being deprived from his basic need. Thus everywhere people are guided by pleasure principle as claimed by Sigmund Freud. In fact pleasure is the treasure of life. Our unconscious Id desires play vital role in this respect.

Man is survived by his children. So, man gives birth to children. This survival strategy and struggle for existence through generations are observed both in plant and animal. Plants remain alive through seeds and men by children. So, transfer of generation is powerfully omnipresent. A man having no issue considers himself unlucky in comparison with those who have children and suffers from melancholy.

Man feeds his children to confirm his existence. He does it to serve and satisfy his own interest and emotion as well. Moreover, he does it remembering that his parents also did

  1. It is just like his duty or repay the debt from parents who brought him in this world and likewise indebted to their ancestors for the same cause. It is just the order of the grand father, High Command ,the great or pay respect to his sentiment.

When the children grow up and parents become old, there are two types of return in exchange of their duties ; either the children may look after or they may not look after their parents. The outcome whether the children will care or not depends on cultural heritage and influence of environment upon the concerned character. Further, the return depends fully on the lessen they taught or examples they set. However, the parents at old age whether will be prized or punished depends on Fate that likes to introduce its uniqueness as uncertain rather being certain in nature.

So far we have discussed the negative sides of deprivation. But deprivation has its positive sides too. The children of nuclear family get much attention of their parents. Such parents give instantly whatever their children demand. As a result they don’t learn to wait and share with others. Thus they become prodigal, unethical and misguided missile causing headache to parents and society at large. The children must be cared and should get the essential commodities. Simultaneously they should not offer everything whatever or whenever they demand. They must learn to wait. This waiting will teach to be patient and they will learn the value of a thing. They must know the difference between hard earning and easy earning.

CONCLUSIONS

Deprivation gives birth to capital. As such property is always theft. Rich exploits the poor and thus be the owner of huge amount of capital. Self deprivation also paves the way to earn capital. For example, let a poor man earns ten dollars per day. Let, for food he needs ten dollar. Now for his security and uncertain future he may spend eight dollars, saving two dollar through self deprivation. Thus self deprivation gives birth to capital.  Buddha was against such self torture caused by starvation. As such, it seems Buddhism is also against deprivation and thereby capitalism.

OF CONFUSION

ABSTRACT

Confusion means not clear or difficult to understand. It is to mix up or jumble together. It

is to mix up mentally. It causes doubt. Also it creates doubt. In politics the leftist says, ‘take left turn for right direction’. And the rightist says, ‘take right turn for right direction’. As such a shrewd person is neither leftist nor rightist, rather enjoys remaining in Middle East. Thus he is called opportunist. This simply confuses common crowd clearly.

ARTICLE

Confusion means not clear or difficult to understand. It is to mix up or jumble together. It is to mix up mentally. It causes doubt. Also it creates doubt. So, one fails to distinguish between two identical things. As such it paves the way to commit mistake at ease and very smoothly. It is a state of uncertainty about what is happening, intended, required, etc. i.e. an instance of this. It is to make somebody unable to think clearly. It simply bewilders. It is the mistaking of one person or thing for another. It is to make something less clear. It is a state of being not clear in one’s mind because of lack of understanding, embarrassment, etc. This poor or incomplete or half knowledge confuses a person with certainty and thereby throws a person into uncertainty. It is to put something into disorder i.e. to upset something. It is a lack of control or order. Thus it causes and creates panic during urgency or in crisis.

Confusion is a relative concept. With known environment man behaves smartly. An expert can tackle any awkward situation. But that expert becomes novice if he does not update his knowledge regularly. Then confusion dogs him like shadow.

Confusion suggests an indiscriminate mixing or putting together of things so that it is difficult to distinguish the individual elements or parts. Poor or incomplete knowledge confuses. Practice makes a man perfect. Non practice deletes the information from human brain as is usually happens in case of computer memory.

If a person revisits a place after a long gap, then the abrupt change of the concerned place confuses him. He cannot match with his memory. Present confuses the past. He has to satisfy himself by nostalgia.

A fool easily be confused seldom an intelligent person. Human life is a collection of confusing events. Human being experiences so many unsolved problems like many undiscovered mysteries. A cheater cheats through confusion befooling others. But he is cheated by the Almighty God, as is preached by a theologian.

Human being experiences various types of confusions from cradle to grave. Disorder and disarray imply a disturbance of the proper order or arrangement of parts. Chaos implies total and apparently irremediable lack of organization. Jumble suggests a confused mixture of dissimilar things. Muddle implies a snarled confusion resulting from mismanagement or incompetence.

The confusions of adolescence are dangerous. An inexperienced novice gazes in confusion at the strange sight. Some one laughs for someone. Some one laughs at someone. Only a judicious soul can distinguish it seldom an emotional heart. Confusion enchants the tender minds. It diverts them. They are diverted genius. They become misguided missile. Immense is the force of youth. As such, no force or none can hardly resist them from utter and untimely ruin.

Where there is compulsion there lays no confusion. Ambiguity confuses. Share may be fifty-fifty or in any proportion. Chance can never be fifty-fifty. But this fifty-fifty concept is widely used around the world. If a student passes in the examination, then chance is cent percent. In case of failure the chance is zero. There may be some confusion about what the correct procedure should be. But result is confirmed. If the procedure is correct outcome is correct. Wrong avenue escorts wrong destination. If any policy suffers from confusion, it cannot be implemented due to doubt. Two or more persons having same name confuses. Then adjective is used to identify them properly namely tall Jack or mad Jack. Similarly two persons are confused if they look alike. Unexpected arrival of the boss confuses all plans of the employees. Similarly changes of plan render one totally confused. Civil war throws the people in a state of confusion. So many questions confuse an interviewee or a criminal in the police station.

A shrewd person confuses the issue by introducing irrelevant topics. As man grows older memory becomes weak. So old age easily gets confused. Any instruction must be crystal clear otherwise confusion misinterprets. Confusion and contradiction are synonymous. Since any agreement or treaty confusing or contradictory issues should be avoided for the sake of permanent settlement. But a shrewd politician introduces these points intentionally and later on interprets those ambiguous doctrines as per his sweet will. In any theory excessive facts and figures confuse the readers. Out of sight confirms out of mind. But confusions arise from a lack of communication. It, therefore, seems forgetting is better than confusion.

CONCLUSIONS

In politics the leftist says, ‘take left turn for right direction’. And the rightist says, ‘take right turn for right direction’. As such a shrewd person is neither leftist nor rightist, rather enjoys remaining in Middle East. Thus he is called opportunist. This simply confuses common crowd clearly.

OF DESERTION

ABSTRACT

A man may return back to his motherland after a long back. His deserted house reminds him his lost childhood. He becomes nostalgic. He wants to get back his past dawns, idle noon, romantic evenings and talkative silence of the vast night’s sky. Trifling matters of lost childhood or bygone days render his eyes wet.

ARTICLE

Desertion means to leave a person, place or thing without intending ever to return, especially in violation of a duty, promise or the like. It implies to forsake. It is to quit a service or duty. It is willful abandonment of a legal or moral obligation. One school of thought differs partly with this doctrine. It argues that the deserter is compelled to leave.  His intention is not intentional. Man, generally, resists change for uncertainty, injustice and fear. He leaves when the last ray of hope is vanished. This is a painful decision of displacement. He leaves alone. Thus he is evicted. He weeps silently. He mourns alone. In fact the wounded heart is not alone. Nostalgia is the ever companion of the migrant people.

Cultural violence acts silently. Refugee or migrant people loose identity due to silent invasion of new culture. Such people do suffer from identity crisis. They become nostalgic and anxious for the young generation. To them new culture is alias and akin to violent culture.

Also desertion is to leave somebody without help or support. It is to abandon somebody. It is to leave somebody when most needed. Displacement may be for single cause. It may be for many a cause. Also it may be for no cause at all. The last cause may be for divine call or for devil call or the person may suffer from insanity.

Further, desertion is to leave or run away from military service without authority or permission in order to avoid hazardous duty. A large number of soldiers desert in panic, especially, when defeat is imminent. A soldier who deserts his post in time of war is punished severely. Desertion from the army is punishable by death. A soldier is alias and akin to discipline. Discipline is the key to success of a captain. If the soldiers leave without permission defeat is a must. And damage will be more severely than defeat. Soldiers are basically human being by birth. Their souls should be hardened enough to face severity and show cruelty to the enemy. But in careless moment emotion disturbs them and they feel inner pull of homesickness. As such mutinies and mass desertions in the forces are often observed.

As already stated, desert, abandon, forsake mean to leave behind persons, places, or things. Desert implies intentionally violating an oath, formal obligation, or duty. To desert campaign pledges is very bad. A government fails if it fails to honor its election pledge. Abandon suggests giving up wholly and finally, whether of necessity, unwillingly, or through shrinking responsibilities. A judicious person abandons a hopeless task. He likes not to run after a mirage. He moves if purpose serves. He moves not if purpose serves not. Forsake has emotional connotations, since it implies violating obligations of affection or association. A wise person seldom forsakes a noble cause. He can give up everything for the sake of noble cause, but instead of anything he cannot banish goodness .Here lies his superiority. Here lies his greatness.

Intention is all. Intention of the concerned person is to be realized first. It should be verified carefully prior taking any judicious decision. Acid test of reliability is a must in this crucial matter. They say look before you leap. Otherwise desertion is confirmed. Employee leaves employer. Servant leaves stealing all belongings of the master. Husband deserts wife. Wife deserts husband. Sometimes desertion grounds for divorce. As a result children are affected mostly and severely. Ultimately, houses for orphans become overcrowded.

During war the village or locality is hurriedly deserted as the tanks draw nearer. Later on the people desert the ruined village. The captain asks the passengers and crews to leave the sinking ship quickly. A prodigal son deserts his ailing parents. This wounds his parents very badly thereby they are hurt very sadly. If the parents are poor then their sorrows and sufferings know no bound.

Someone deserts wife and children and goes abroad. Sincere survey reveals that men are allured and become the victim of polygamy more than women. This is due to the fact that a man does not become pregnant but a woman. She has to carry the luggage of enjoyment alone. She bears pain and hears first the throb of life as well and thereby attraction grows with the unborn babe. She cannot leave due to motherly affection and emotional bondage from which the father is deprived.

When popularity of someone is declined then even his friends start deserting him. Members desert the party in drove. This is human nature. Man basically is an opportunist. During urgency or crisis period presence of mind or courage deserts an unlucky person. It is quite frustrating if a courageous person, in the hour of need, fails to show boldness. This inability pains and pinches him always. Then there is no basic difference between a coward and a courageous person at all. But an expert is an exception always. He can show his expertise always whether fortune favors or not it matters nothing.

Sometimes a timid and cool-tempered character shows sudden and unexpected boldness bewildering all. They say and ill-tempered person looses temper instant and becomes cool soon. On the other hand, if a cool brain becomes hot then it is not easy to make him cool again. He takes much time to regain his lost state of mind.

CONCLUSIONS

Childhood, teenage, youth, middle age, old age and death are different facets of life. These all are inevitable stages appear periodically. One stage voluntarily leaves the body to give shelter for the next stage. Sometimes one stage gallops the next stage. Then man becomes older early. Sometimes man dies premature surpassing all the successive stages. However, the former stage disappears without any notice. The latter stage appears silently. Thus the former stage is being evicted silently by the latter one quite unaware. None or no force can resist this natural phenomenon. Also no force is required for this eviction and subsequent occupation as well. All these happenings occur without any hue and cry. Both sun rise and sun set are natural events. Similarly, life and death are natural events as well. Through these successive desertions man becomes enriched gradually with diversified knowledge that paves his future success. These are the chronicles of desertion of human life, as a whole, from cradle to grave.

OF EGO

ABSTRACT

Ego is an individual’s idea of himself, especially in relation to other people or to the outside world. It is the self; the individual as aware of himself i.e., self-aware. It is the “I” or self – that which is conscious and thinks; an image of oneself. It means self-esteem. It implies self-confidence. The paradox is that this self assessment is neither inferior nor proper rather it does suffer from superiority complex always. This idea is a curse to him. He is so self-imprisoned. Such a cursed character cannot free himself. Also he likes not and wants not to make him free from the sufferings of such horrific hallucinations which are liable for his utter and untimely ruin. But he cannot realise it. Rather he enjoys it. Ego is a personality trait. Trait cannot be changed. This trait follows him like a shadow till he breadth his last. He considers everybody inferior to him. So he hates all. Thus he hurts all. The tragedy is that this hatred returns back to him as boomerang. He is paid back by his own coin. Thus ego is the “I” or self of any person; a person as thinking, feeling, and willing, and distinguishing itself from the selves of others and from objects of its thought. It is the enduring and conscious element that knows experience. It is the scholasticism, the complete man comprising both body and soul.

Ego is a conscious thinking subject. It is the part of the mind that reacts to reality and has sense of individuality. From philosophical point of view it is the self, variously conceived as a spiritual substance on which experience is superimposed, the series of acts and mental states introspectively recognized, etc.

A psychoanalyst interprets ego as the part of the psyche resolving conflicts between the impulses of the id, the demands of the environment, and the standards of the superego. Thus it is the part of the psychic apparatus that experiences and reacts to the outside world and thus mediates between the primitive drives of the id and the demands of the social and physical environment.

Both poor and rich are the victims of ego. But all do not suffer from ego. It diminishes clarity of thought. Chance comes once. An intelligent person avails the opportunity freeing himself from the clutches of ego. He holds ego when there is no interest. He releases ego when there is gain. Thus he wins both ways. But a fool loses always. He holds when it should not and holds not when it should.

Egotism implies excessive and frequent use of the pronouns “I” and “me”. It is the thinking or speaking too much of oneself. It manifests self-exaltation. It highlights self-exposure. It is an exaggerated opinion of oneself. It implies selfishness. Thus it discloses self-conceit. It titillates self-importance. It provokes to be self-esteem. It highlights self-image. It paves the way for destruction. It is the excessive pride in oneself or in one’s powers, abilities, etc. He considers himself over and above all. He is second to none. He dares no body and cares none. Thus he breaks all barriers and crosses all boundaries. This pride renders his life complex and miserable as well. A bruised or fragile ego renders the victim either furious or calm. Losing the match makes quite a dent in the ego of such a character.

Egoism, from philosophical point of view, is the doctrine that we have proof of nothing but our own existence. As per ethics, egoism is the theory of self-interest as the principle or foundation of morality. It is systematic selfishness. It implies self-opinionated-ness.

Egotist or egoist is a person who practices or shows egotism. He accepts the doctrine of egoism. Egoist is self-centered. He is a selfish person. An egoist is arrogantly proud. He thinks and speaks too much of himself or of things as they affect himself. Egoist is an adherent of the metaphysical principle of the ego or self. A politician is always egotistical and attention-seeking. Egoistic is being self-centered in or preoccupied with oneself and the gratification of one’s own desires i.e., self-centered.

Egoism is the deification of self. It implies identification of oneself with God. This identification becomes so severe that he forgets his mundane existence. Sometimes he considers himself as superior to all. Sometimes he defies God, even.

Alter ego is a close friend who is very like oneself. They may be class friend. They may be glass friend of a night club. Class friend may be separated but glass friend never. Such two souls go everywhere together. They are forever. They are made for each other or mad for each other or both simultaneously.

Ego trip is a trip, or experience, that gratifies or indulges the ego. It is an act, project, etc. undertaken to boost one’s own image or good opinion of oneself or devoted entirely to one’s own interests or feelings. Such trip is an activity done for one’s own pleasure or satisfaction, and usually to make one feel more important, etc. than others. The charity work of a philanthropist is just one big ego-trip. Such a Samaritan enjoys intense heavenly delight from this trip. He considers it as the repayment of debt towards humanity. Thus he discharges his social responsibility in such a unique way. It is his self-less venture. But a politician starts this trip to achieve political success thereby future commercial gain in disguise of classical one.

Egocentric implies viewing everything in relation to oneself. Egocentric person considers only oneself. He knows how to serve and satisfy his ego by hook or by crook. He is so genius. He is so dangerous. He is self-centered. He is simply a selfish having complex mind. He is either dangerously brilliant or brilliantly dangerous or both simultaneously.

Egocentric person or egocentric policy or egocentric attitude is a headache to the society. A character of any drama if portrayed as egocentric and self-indulgent may be the protagonist. Thus egocentric implies having or regarding the self as the center of all worldly things. It is having little or no regard for interests, beliefs, or attitudes other than one’s own. Egocentricity renders one blind as well as blunt also. Egocentricity is based on the belief that the world exists or can be known only in relation to the individual’s mind.

Ego ideal is the part of the mind developed from the ego by an awareness of social standards. This ideal is a more or less conscious ideal of personal excellence toward which an individual strives. It implies the conception of a better or more successful future self, based on identification with parents or parental substitutes.

Egotism or egoism is the practice of thinking and talking too often or too much about oneself. Childish egotism renders an adult a laughing stock and a person of hatred and avoidance as well. Egotism is constant, excessiveness and objectionable reference to oneself, in speaking or writing thereby boastfulness. Egotism is generally considered more opprobrious term than egoism.

Egoism is the tendency to be self-centered, or to consider only oneself and one’s own interests. It means selfishness. It is the ethics, the doctrine that self-interest is the proper goal of all human actions. It is the habit of valuing everything only in reference to one’s personal interest i.e., selfishness. It is opposed to altruism. It is any of various theories that regard the ego as the starting point or basic entity in epistemology, ethics, or metaphysics. It is the view that each person should regard his own welfare as the supreme end of his actions.

Egotism and egoism both refer to preoccupation with one’s ego or self. Egotism is the common word for obtrusive and excessive reference to and emphasis upon oneself and one’s own importance, in conversation and writing, often to the extent of monopolizing attention and showing disregards for others opinions. Thus egotism alienates all friends and well-wishers as well.

Egoism, a less common word, is used especially in epistemology, ethics, and metaphysics, where it emphasizes the importance of self. It is believed that the theory of ethical egoism is supported by psychological findings. Egoism implies pride. Antonym of egoism is humility, altruism, etc.

Egomania means psychologically abnormal. Abnormally excessive egotism means egomania that paves the way to be absolutely isolated. Two persons having egomania may or may not match. It is their whim that dictates and directs their movement. They are so unpredictable. But their predictions are flawless. Here lies their superiority and complexity as well.

Ego psychology is the study of the adaptive and mediating functions of the ego and their role in personality development and emotional disorder. It is an important branch that helps to solve the problems as are faced with, of the real world.

As per physics, when both centripetal and centrifugal forces are equal and balance each other then the object rotates. Similarly an egoist likes oiling and thinks sycophants will always move around him. Egotistic is pertaining to or characterized by egotism. Given to talking about himself he becomes indifferent to the well-being of others. Thus he is ill-famed as selfish, egoistic, vain, boastful and opinionated as well.

Inferiority complex renders one timid. A coward cannot shine in life. Superiority complex offers pride thereby paves the way for downfall. A person having proper self knowledge prospers easily. He becomes popular for his pleasing personality. He can conquer the head and heart of all. Thus he has many friends and well-wishers. An egoist cannot think of such popularity. He avoids everybody and simultaneously he is avoided by all. He becomes isolated. He is deserted. Thus his life becomes miserable.

Personality clashes occur when two or more people find themselves in conflict not over a particular issue or incident, but due to a fundamental incompatibility in their personalities, their approaches to things, their style of life. A personality clash may occur in work-related, family-related, or social situations.

Ego clashes are nasty, destructive diseases that can harm businesses large and small. Many of us will have witnessed the symptoms. These can include one person deliberately failing to consult a colleague when they should, or failing to include them in group activity at work or after hours.

It seems personality conflict and ego clash are different. Personality conflict occurs when one person's style of behavior or thinking differs from the style of another person. By contrast, ego clash could occur when both people have the same style of behavior or thinking but each person thinks that they are better than the other person or need to gain ascendancy over the other person.

An egoist criticizes others thereby warms his ego. He considers all as inferior. He is the practitioner of apartheid. He finds fault with others. He is so base, hardly can he realize that others have already identified him as an uncultured and unsocial element. Nobody laughs for him. Rather everybody laughs at him. He considers himself as the only developed person around him. He considers himself only enlightened. And others are either undeveloped or under developed or merely developing persons. As such none will be able to touch his enlightened status till his death and after his death even. This baseless dream offers him brakeless enjoyment also. He finds no wrong in it. He does not and cannot bear any kind of criticism. Criticism of any kind hurts his ego. His ego prevents him from accepting any offer.

Modern nucleus family has become the victim of ego. A person may not be egoist by birth. But his status renders him to be an egoist. One may want to leave ego but ego does not want to leave its victim. A rich man may be egoist. If that person becomes poor then money can leave him but ego will not leave him. As a consequence of it, he cannot do any inferior job easily or freely.

The strategy of a wise person is to deal with “WE”. The learned beats every body’s drum. But an egoist deals with “I”. He always beats his own drum only untiringly. He asks other to preach on behalf of him. It is a risky game. Because the egoist takes credit in case of win. But he imposes discredit forthwith to the opponents in case of loss. As such everybody avoids such a harmful opportunist character.

A wise considers man not money. To the learned man is more valuable than money. Money has its limited exchange capacity. But immense is the power of man. Man can mange everything everywhere. Man can conquer the head and heart. But money cannot always show such expertise all the time. So the learned opts for man and leaves money. Through money all cannot be purchased. The learned knows man is forever money is not. Man stays. Money may not stay. Man keeps promise. Money being promissory note may not keep always its promise to the original owner. Money keeps its promise to the bearer only. One who  pick-pockets takes this advantage. Then money keeps its promise to the pickpocket, but not to the real owner. A rich person becomes egoist for having huge amount of money. A wise seldom becomes boastful. He never shows his richness either in knowledge or money. He imposes ego to the opponent. He seldom shows ego. But he bears ego of others.

CONCLUSIONS

A wise can asses self correctly. A fool cannot. Similar is the case of an egoist who is overconfident. Due to wrong assessment wrong messages reach to all. It is derogatory in nature. It causes ill fame. It invites ill fame. It disturbs. It creates distance. It diminishes good relation. The egoist suffers from superiority complex that causes downfall and experiences brutal laughter from all neglected persons around him. Here lies the lesson of hatred the outcome of ego enjoyed by the adamant egoist.

OF HEARSAY WRITING

ABSTRACT

Hearsay is something heard from another person. It means something that one has been told by someone either spontaneously or on interrogation to quench the thirst of the thirsty heart thus to serve and satisfy his suspicion or inquisitiveness or both simultaneously. The hearer may either be known or unknown of the communicator. And the receiver has simply communicated the same to other third person who is either eager to hear or will enjoy it or both simultaneously. In case of known person the joy enjoys synergy. Now it is obvious that the speaker has heard from

someone. It is an endless chain process. Even it continues generation after generation for its interesting ingredients. As such its source can hardly be detected. In fact hearsay is a tool of easy enjoyment. Folksongs are the outcome of such hearsay having unique appeal. When this appeal becomes culture free it acquires the status of universal appeal.

Hearsay is something heard from another person. The hearer may either be known or unknown of the communicator. And the receiver has simply communicated the same to other third person who is either eager to hear or will enjoy it or both simultaneously. In case of known person the joy enjoys synergy. Now it is obvious that the speaker has heard from someone.

A man has to invest nothing when he hears a song or sees a thing or enjoys natural beauty. Here investment is zero, but gain is cent percent. Similar is the nature of hearsay or its outcome as hearsay writing. An extrovert cannot help speaking whatever he hears or thinks. He feels uneasy or cannot sleep well till he speaks the hearsay to another person and becomes mentally free. He becomes excited when he knows that his information has been propagated everywhere. But an introvert is free from such ill fame or allegation. A confidential officer is an introvert who likes to hear more than speaking. In selection of confidential personnel the attribute of introvert is considered. Also a successful person is one who hears more speaks less. It is a personality trait. Some terrorists are trained in such a way that thousand tortures seldom can compel them to disclose the true identity of the gang leader.

In lunch hours a person chooses food as per financial capacity. Similarly in leisure hours a reader picks up a book as per his talent. A lay man cannot grasp the rich thoughts of a book since his knowledge is poor. As such he seldom shows his interest in the books of high thoughts pregnant with obscure matters. However, an interested and inquisitive mind enriches himself through constant and regular study, thereby enables to realize the difficult texts.

They say hearsay is the antonym of fact. A person receives any news. He thinks over the matter. He then communicates the matter as it is or he can either suppress any unfavorable part or exaggerate the suitable part or change the whole matter thereby manufactures a new one and serving the new information creates a new problem. Here the message depends on likeness, emotion and intellect of the concerned person. Similar case happens when a person sees something. Here fact is fabricated through mingling of the sweet will of the receiver. Thus it has no legal base or legal brake. So it knows not where to stop, when to stop and how to stop. Sinceit runs after eternity it has no stoppage. As such it is not accepted in the court.

Though hearsay is far from fact yet, they say, some essence of truth is there. Since it is not a written document the communicator communicates as per his sweet or sour or cocktail of both will and intellect as well. An intelligent person neither gives much importance of such rumor nor does he communicate the same, for he knows the problem originating from it. But a fool instantly preaches the message to all and it spreads like fire faster than wind.

The popular novel is lucid. It speaks the told or untold story of the ordinary people. Its theme is taken from real life of common mass. So a lay reader hears the inner voice of the protagonist as his own. He becomes astonished how the author reads his private thoughts. He readily communicates through soliloquy. He resembles himself with the characters of the novel. Their language, dream, hope, desire, despair, frustration, sorrows and sufferings are similar to the readers themselves. So both language and characters are akin to the lay readers. If it is culture free then such hearsay writing becomes best seller. These everlasting episodes depict the real life and reality of life in general throughout generations.

The writing of a scholar is read by another scholar. Similarly a creative piece is read by a creator only. Common mass are afraid of these two kinds of obscure writings since they have time but lack in talent. Since the number of scholars and creators are numbered the readers are also numbered. As such huge numbers of lay readers are deprived from the blessings of enjoyment of pleasure of reading. Here lies the importance and market of hearsay writing the third kind of writing. Hearsay writing is more poetic than prose. It is more lyrical than practical. Its base is on hearsay or they say. Thus a hearsay writer has no liability. He refers his reference on they say. It is quite a safe game for a hearsay writer since prize goes to writer and punishment is imposed upon public. Like creative writing it has no reference. Because gossip, common talks, casual talks, serious talks, rumors, etc. seldom are considered as reference, though these are contemporary social documents enriched with philosophical thoughts being outcome of daily experience.

Gossip encompasses all topics between heaven and earth. Any topic whatever difficult may it be the narrator translates it into liquid and serves the hearer to quench their thirst. A lay man casually talks serious matters and seriously talks casual matters. Thus they break the barriers and cross the boundaries of all norms and normal and become news. Seldom can they know that how valuable their talks are.

The moralist believes in the principle, “Art for life’s sake”. The antithesis being, “Art for Art’s sake” hankers after aesthetic movement whose followers believe in the cult of beauty, or the enjoyment of beauty for its own sake. Perhaps the hearsay writer has equal respect to both the doctrines, the brainchild of the creators and scholars respectively. He believes in classical success instead of commercial one. It seems didactic fragrance destroys the classical essence of a writing.

A scholar reads first, then writes and gives reference. A creative writer thinks and expresses his thoughts in writings but cannot give reference, because thoughts are not honored as reference. The glamour of reference lies in its publication. Newspapers quote the sayings of a person. The saying is not a reference but the concerned newspaper itself is a reference. Thus a saying gets recognition of reference through publication.

The readers are not bound to read all writings. It is the responsibility of the author to write judging the intellect and interest of the readers. Most of the authors neglect this vital issue. They write as per their whims. This answers why the libraries are becoming merely the store house of large still books which remain unread. This fact may be merit of a scholar but demerit or misfortune of the readers.

A writer writes to satisfy his egotistic attitude. Many times such an emotionally driven writer forgets the reality. He seldom thinks whether the reader will read it or not. He argues that all flowers do not get chance for offerings. Many flowers blossom and wither away quite unaware. Similarly all writings may not attract all. It is bitterly true in case of inspired writing also. May be a single reader does not read any writing even. Yet the writer writes. Yet the flower blossoms in the untrodden hill of far off land. A writing is not a commodity. It is the outcome of emotion. Emotion has no room in reality. A writer seldom thinks for demand and supply principle of economics. He goes as he likes. He writes of his own. He writes just to discharge his intellect. More clearly he discharges his violent emotion. Thus he gets relief through Catharsis.

A man when hears gathers experience. He hears a mass. If individual mass has 20 years experiences then discussing or hearing 50 people he gathers 1000 years experience every day. In this way he becomes an ocean of experience thereby knowledge. This huge experience enriched with diversified knowledge offers him expertise to write anything between heaven and earth. He may become a fortunate successful writer. Thus he can instantly write on quantum mechanics in the morning and on quality control in the evening of that particular day like extempore speech. This gathering of knowledge, through this unique style within a short period, is otherwise quite impossible in the short tenure of a single life. This capacity causes envy to others.

Some emotional writers bother none. They write just to please themselves. They argue those who want to please everybody can please nobody. Writing is their democratic right. If any one likes, he will read. If likes not, he will read not. For that the author cannot compel a reader to read. Not reading is the democratic right enjoyed by the inquisitive moody readers as well. Similarly none can compel a classical writer not to write. Thus reading or not reading is a million dollar question.

Recognition is an important factor. A reader seldom reads the writings of an unknown author. If that author is laurelled then the readers become interested to read his/her writings. If the recognition be global or hails from far-off land rather than being local then the craze of the reader becomes noticeable thereby the author may dream for golden future. As such they say first Nobel Prize, after that local prize. The content of a book before or after prize is identical. A reader may find nothing interesting in an unrecognized book. The paradox is that that very reader finds much matter in the second time reading of that very book that gets recognition later on. Here question of intellect of the reader and Fate of the author are quite obscure. It is true that all the writings of a famous writer are not of equal standard. Similarly, even a less known writer may write something having universal appeal. They say fame is such a thing that a bad writing of a good writer is praised. Conversely, a good writing of a bad writer is simply rejected.

CONCLUSIONS

Both scholar and creator try to impress the readers. But a hearsay writer is free from this allegation. He simply expresses. Also he is free from plagiarism. He hears and jots down. But he is not a journalist. The difference lies in the fact that he hears, he sees then he thinks over the matter, nurtures in the light of imagination and ultimately expresses the reality as per his sweet will in literary essence. Here lies its greatness. Here lies its glory.

OF DISSATISFACTION

ABSTRACT

Dissatisfaction causes melancholy. And melancholy drives away mental peace. It isolates a man from normal life. He becomes alone. He loses joy of life. He sees everybody as happy except himself. Accordingly, he tries in vain to be happy like others. Because, melancholy deprives a man from happiness. Thus, nothingness compels him to surrender to frustration. Again, sadness, if persists for a long period of time, renders a man lunatic.

INTRODUCTION

Creative writing is based more on manifestation rather than on expression. It does not inform rather reveals, so it bears no reference. The best creative writing is critical, and the best critical writing is creative. The present article is the outcome of creative writing meant for lay readers. In fact, Bacon's way of presentation i.e., his unique style kindled the imagination already in me and encouraged me as well to write essays, in the light of creative writing, thus to get relief through catharsis.

ARTICLE

Dissatisfaction is a dangerous disease. In this world there is none who does not suffer from dissatisfaction little or much. So, it is the part and parcel of human mind. For the fact is that satisfaction and dissatisfaction are quite relative matters, because for the same result different people react differently. This happens so since all people are not perfectly identical in characteristic nature and behavior, taste and temperament.

For the convenience of our discussion, dissatisfaction may be classified into two categories viz., positive dissatisfaction and negative dissatisfaction. We have already mentioned that dissatisfaction is a disease which has both good and evil sides. In fact, positive dissatisfaction and negative dissatisfaction may again be classified as good dissatisfaction and bad dissatisfaction respectively.

Now, what is positive or good dissatisfaction? Let us suppose, a brilliant and ambitious student, for any unavoidable circumstances, fails to make a good result in the examination. Now, as he fails to make brilliant result, he will naturally be the victim to the so-called dissatisfaction. And this very dissatisfaction may act as the internal fuel which will inspire him to make the desired good result in future. We may, therefore, call this dissatisfaction as the positive or good dissatisfaction as it helps an individual to be a noble optimist. In this connection, it may further be mentioned here that failure may pave the way for termination of life of a sensitive soul. So, one should be very cautious about the cruel clutches of the failure, on the contrary, he should try again and again with sincere effort to attain sure and grand success in future.

Now, what is negative or bad dissatisfaction? Again, for clarification, let us suppose an individual gets less share of say, paternal property in comparison with the shares of the other inheritors and be dissatisfied accordingly. Then this type of dissatisfaction caused by lack of fulfillment of self-interest, may be classified as bad or negative dissatisfaction that ultimately leads to unwanted problem and sufferings evolved thereby. In short, we may therefore; say that failure may give birth to positive dissatisfaction whereas envy, greed and selfishness are solely responsible for creating negative dissatisfaction.

Since, as we mentioned earlier, dissatisfaction is a disease, maybe it is good or bad, one should identify first the principal source i.e. cause of it and must take immediate step for early recovery just to regain the stable condition of previous state of life. Otherwise, in course of time, like dreadful diseases dissatisfaction will spread its trap so quickly that the unfortunate victim cannot but to surrender even sometimes to premature death. It is, therefore, well advised to the said student to try heart and soul to achieve his desired goal just to make him free from melancholy caused by dissatisfaction even, may be, it is good or positive in its characteristic nature and behavior. Again, the man in question who has been dissatisfied due to less receipt of the property should try to abolish the last germ of dissatisfaction already attacked his mind just to make him happy. Further, one should always keep it in mind that nobody except a man himself can make him happy. So, for the sake of his mental peace and happiness he should try accordingly. It is well-known that a man loves himself best. So, we may call an individual a genuine warm lover of himself, judicious and perfectly normal behaving fellow as well only when he tries as sincerely as possible to make him happy being free from cares and anxieties i.e., dissatisfaction.

Dissatisfaction makes a man unhappy for ever. And if a man does not try seriously from the very beginning to be free from it he will surely be sleepless. Then the sleepless man will march towards the land of death just like the sleepless king of the story. So, he should remember that he must sleep, or he will die. Thus, dissatisfaction is an enemy of the mankind. Also, we may call it a curse to the human life.

Dissatisfaction gives birth to tension. And tension is a terrific terror. It makes one mentally unrest. With tension a man becomes machine having full of motion losing emotion. But a man without emotion is nothing but a beast only. Tension reduces the natural movement of an individual. Then the victimized person can not enjoy the life in its full swing along with all of its flying colors having beautiful spectrums. Thus the whole world seems to him as if a dark galaxy. Tension is singularly liable for different diseases. And thus it reduces the life-span of a man in question. Again it renders a person less dynamic. So it kills valuable time of a man. And time is equivalent to money. Hence tension is solely responsible for the down-fall of economic condition of a person. It seldom allows a man to perform any job perfectly, causing dissatisfaction which makes the life critical. So a tension invites another tension. Thus a series of tensions paralyze the

brain of an individual. So with such a wretched condition of the brain judicious decision cannot be expected. And, therefore, the decision becomes wrong owing to lack of clarity of thought. Again that the decision controls fate is known to all. Thus due to tension caused by dissatisfaction our Fate becomes calamitous.

We have already mentioned that it is our first and foremost duty to make us happy and remain free from cares and anxieties as much as possible. But it is very difficult since this world is nothing but the kingdom of ceaseless problems like the ceaseless waves of the sea. So our policy should always be to achieve peace and happiness instead of everything but never will we leave them in lieu of anything. And this should be the very basic philosophy of a man who sincerely desires to be perfectly happy and satisfied.

Dissatisfaction itself is a driving force. But one must be vigilant and watch that that very driving force should work for the sake of betterment of human life i.e. ‘manifestation of perfection already in man’. It is a fact that human being always suffers from endless hopes and aspirations and accordingly man runs after them. May be, we fail to reach our coveted destination even after constant, serious and sincere efforts. But we should not be unhappy i.e. dissatisfied. Because, in practice, many tries but only a few succeeds.

Also ambition must be proportionate with one’s ability which has limitation. In most of the cases our lackadaisical attitude makes us dissatisfied. However, one should be optimist but his ambition must not be sky-kissing i.e., beyond his capacity. Rather one should fix his target in the light of reality. It is obvious that there lie differences between target and achievement. So target must be higher. But it must not be an absurd one causing one’s dissatisfaction. Again, we should have faith on that great saying that one has the right upon duties but never on the outcome. The people who have faith on this divine doctrine can lead a tension-free life than others who decline to confess its significance. Also we should think before doing anything but never think after doing anything if we want to be satisfied.

Melancholy, tension, anger, etc. are the outcome of dissatisfaction. The best way to get relief from the pains of dissatisfaction is self-criticism that helps to find out its origin. In fact, self-criticism has enormous effect in building up the career of an individual. Through self-criticism a man everyday can discover the more accurate avenue of life-style thus to reach his desired goal. Those who believe in the correctability of human being and desire for self-development should practice self-criticism. It is better than best weapon for self-evaluation. Regular practice of it is a must for that dynamic individual who sincerely desires to get the good effect of it. Thus self-criticism paves the way for sure success, because it makes a man judicious and cool-tempered. It is difficult to make one move by external force. But that very person will move at his will if internal force begins to work. And self-criticism gives birth to that very internal force which is inevitable for the self-development of an individual. It is a very sophisticated art of self-making. Through it proper self-estimation is possible so as to enjoy a healthy, happy as well as prosperous life. Wise men say that a stitch in time saves nine. So every day practice of self-criticism is a must just to avoid huge load of cumulative and unwanted problems. Again regular practice of it saves one from committing any wrong or mischievous deeds. For his common sense becomes very strong. So he can judge easily the good and evil of anything. Thus he becomes very cautious about himself. He knows thyself. He realizes his limitation. So, through self-criticism, he becomes a man of confidence which is undoubtedly a valuable asset for an individual to ascertain success in the struggle of life.

Further, self-criticism offers the power of self-control. And a man without the power of self-control is just like a car having no brake. So the quality of self-control should invariably be possessed by a determined individual to solve the problems as is usually faced in the way of life. Thus self-criticism has manifold utility. It is a valuable asset to an individual. Since, self-criticism needs time, at day-time it is not possible for its practice. So bed-time is the best time for the critical analysis of whole day work i.e. self-criticism.

CONCLUSIONS

Selfishness gives birth to negative dissatisfaction. Since it is quite detrimental enough for an individual one should not be selfish for the sake of his self-interest. And accordingly, he should not move being provoked by negative dissatisfaction. Regarding positive dissatisfaction, one should have a clear view – whenever a person tries to achieve something he should think either of the two probabilities, either he may fail or he may fail to fail. Now, he should simply try for the latter one. But he must not make him unhappy. He must not allow himself to suffer from cares and anxieties. He must have sportsmanship. Here, he may, simply allow himself to be a positive dissatisfied fellow, but that must be within limit and nothing else more. And in this regard he should have a crystal clear idea about his limitation as well as sharp control over himself; otherwise he will suffer from mental agony. Lastly, however, for the sake of self-satisfaction one should not suffer from dissatisfaction.

OF ENGAGEMENT

ABSTRACT

Engage is likely to attract or occupy the attention. It is quite charming. An engaging smile elopes a lover. Engaging manner enchants a tender soul. Engaging person conquers the head and heart of all. Rustic beauties of wild flowers engage the fortunate observer for long rendering him spell bound. A pious soul engages himself always in the thoughts of God. An innocent soul thinks good does better. A sacred heart is sincerely an optimist. He is the greatest, wisest and best of all since he is engaged in thinking of eternity that the best will happen by the blessings of the Almighty, the Supreme Power. The optimist opines that this mundane existence is merely an engagement. This world as if is a station and men are engaged alias waiting, like passengers who wait to avail the trains, to start for heavenly abode, their ultimate and long-cherished destination.

Engage means to arrange to employ somebody. It is to employ busily. It means tooccupy. It fastens a pillar into wall. It implies to reserve or book. It pleads to hold fast a person’s attention. It provokes thereby allures to take part in politics. It insists to hire someone. It is an obligation. It implies moral commitment. It is an art to bind someone by a contract. It is good when it is within limit. It is too bad if it crosses the boundary. Then it becomes obsession. And man suffers from mania. Thus, it is a force that either attracts or pleases or wins or charms or all occurs together.

Engage is to give or assign as security for a debt, etc. It is to bind someone by a promise. It is to arrange for the services of someone. A lawyer is engaged. It is to arrange for use. A hotel room is engaged. It is to draw into or involve. One is engaged in conversation. He acts as an interpreter. Reading engages spare time. It is to entangle. It is to ensnare. It is to engage to do something. It is to occupy or involve oneself. It is to take part. It is to be active. It is to engage in dramatics. It is commitment to support some aim, cause, etc.

Everybody is engaged either direct or indirect way. This engagement is of two types. Man either is engaged by some external agency or man is self engaged. The former is compulsive and the later is a spontaneous one. The compulsive engagement needs supervision. Here the person moves mechanically. His movement is regulated by external force. In case of auto engagement man is guided by internal force. As such the second one is better in its outcome.

Whatever the case may be engagement is omnipresent. When a person works it implies that he is engaged. After much labor a person takes rest. This rest is also an engagement. After taking rest the person is again gives attention to his job. Gossiping refreshes the brain that became tired by untiring monotonous works. But wasting of time through idle gossip is not good engagement. It seldom pays but punishes severely since time and tide wait for none. If a person wastes time, then it can hardly be compensated. They say strike the iron when it is hot. The hot iron can be given desired shape easily. But cold iron  becomes harder which can hardly be shaped rather it resists desired change.

Some people spontaneously help others. They enjoy this type of novel engagement. They propagate it. Some other helps very secretly. Even they dedicate their lives silently. They are like nameless thousands who built the pyramid. They are like martyrs who dedicated  their immortal lives for the noble cause of their mother land. But they are reluctant to advertise it. They believe that secret dedication is too good. But its disclosure is too bad. Rather it is the worst of all. To help is a great virtue but its propagation is a vice.

Man experiences and observes various types of engagement throughout his life. Engagement is an arrangement to employ somebody. It is the process leading to the employment of somebody. Companies engage secretary. Someone is engaged to conduct a series of concerts at the Albert Hall. One is engaged as an interpreter. Interpretation is an important and serious job. Wrong interpretation may give opposite result.

A whimsical person cannot pay attention. Nothing engages his attention for long. This restlessness is the hindrance towards his success; rather it is singularly liable for his downfall. A callous person fails to engage any active support for any project to be implemented. An intelligent shrewd person orders to engage the enemy immediately. Battle is an engagement as opined by an experienced general. Some retired persons are found engaged in gardening.

Engagement is an employment or period of employment, especially in the performing arts. It is quite thought provoking that a modern artist is engaged with the art of ancient art. Simultaneously it also amazes us that some ancient artists contributed and paved the way for modern art as it appears from their successive, systematic and chronological works as well. The paradox is that artists generally are whimsical. The fact is that whims of a great artist give birth to immortal creations through evolution which is time-tested.

A good politician must engage with people’s real concerns. One cog-wheel engages with another. A mechanic knows that the machine starts when the two cog-wheels engage. A good student has no time to engage in gossiping. Some persons are engaged in politics. Some people are engaged in business. Some are engaged either in short or lengthy trade negotiations. A friend can’t come to dinner; he is otherwise engaged. The manager is engaged with a client at the moment. He is now engaged on his first novel. A good novel engages attention and interest of the readers.

Good nature engages everyone. One can’t be contacted through telephone if the concerned number is engaged. The engaged tone or signal indicates that a telephone line is unavailable because it is busy since it is already in use. A toilet is occupied. It means it is already in use. Engaged columns mean attached to or partly set into a wall, etc. A thief steals while a person is otherwise engaged. Also, a cheater befools the target person making him busy in another engagement. In a crowded station when the passengers are engaged to get into the train hurriedly they hardly care their luggage. This callous engagement paves the way for the thief to steal their belongings.

Engagement is an agreement that two people will marry. It is a pledge specifically to bind by a promise of marriage. A sincere person is honest enough to meet his engagements. This sincerity towards commitment manifests the genuineness of a person. This is called goodwill the asset of an honest person. It may be easier to acquire goodwill but very difficult to hold it for long. They say love her who loves you. Never approach her whom you love madly. For you may be rejected badly. This hurts the romantic heart sadly. Della is engaged to John. It implies that she is agreed to marry. Here the consent of John is untold. It is one-sided decision. But marriage is a bi-partite and spontaneous issue. Marriage is a long journey and tolerance is its only fuel. As such consent of both is a must. They are engaged. It signifies that both of them have mutually agreed to marry each other. Then they may be crowned as engaged couple.

The engagement of celebrity is announced in the news paper. Engagement ring is a ring, usually containing precious stones that a man gives to a woman when they agree to marry. One school of thought blames it as a binding and manifestation of patriarchy over female class. In some orthodox society married women use vermillion in their hair- parting. This is done to isolate them from virgins. They enjoy greater status instead of liberty as is enjoyed by virgins. But a married man cannot be identified easily. As such many times he introduces himself as a bachelor just to enjoy polygamy. In case of honor killing lovers seldom disclose their engagement. Seldom has the fiancé given engagement ring to his fiancée.

Engagement means appointment. Appointment is an arrangement to go somewhere, meet somebody or do something at a fixed time. A busy person always has engagements having pre-assigned commitments. The orchestra survives on concert engagements. In the present jet age orchestra gets few calls. An expert is engaged to supervise the production. A tutor is engaged for an inattentive student.

Engagement implies an encounter, conflict or battle. It is to enter into conflict with the enemy. An intelligent and experienced general tries to avoid an engagement with the enemy. The tribal engages to keep the peace. Generally, the victorious soldiers do not engage the retreating enemy.

Engagement is a contact with or concern for somebody or something in an attempt to understand. Engagement with theology offers the wise person both glamour and wisdom in the society. A continuing engagement with the problems of the inner city is an advantage for political administrator.

Engagement is the action or result of engaging parts of a machine, etc. fit or locks together. It is to interlock weapons. After engagement of the clutch the engine starts functioning. It is to interlock with or cause to come into frictional driving contact with. It is to mesh together. It engages the gears.

Engagement is to occupy or attract somebody’s thoughts, interest, etc. Attention of a reader is engaged by the books on the shelf. It is to begin fighting with somebody. It is to establish contact with somebody or something in an attempt to understand them. It is to arrange beforehand to occupy a room, seat, etc. A good student engages himself with study. A sincere person is engaged with duty. He seldom hankers after beauty.

CONCLUSIONS

A pious soul engages himself always in the thoughts of God. An innocent soul thinks good does better. A sacred heart is sincerely an optimist. He is the greatest, wisest and best of all since he is engaged in thinking of eternity that the best will happen by dint of the blessings of the Almighty, the Supreme Power. The optimist opines that this mundane existence is merely an engagement. This world as if is a station and men are engaged alias waiting, like passengers who wait to avail the trains, to start for heavenly abode, their ultimate and long-cherished destination.
